LoanLeads.io sells aged MCA leads: merchant cash advance inquiries submitted weeks or months ago, priced from $0.20 to $1.00 per record by revenue tier and age, with a 5,000-record minimum. Aged leads still fund because many merchants were declined, stalled or needed more time. One funder's single aged order produced five funded deals totaling just shy of $1 million.

Buyers who came back for more
Two real LoanLeads.io buyers, in their own words.
“Yeah, I'm really impressed with the aged.”
“My team is very happy with your leads. So that's why I want to personally call and inform you that. We'll do the same mix, 50-50, but we'll just double the volume. I'm happy. My team is happy. They don't complain about leads.”
What are aged MCA leads?
Aged MCA leads are merchant cash advance inquiries that were submitted days, weeks or months ago and are now sold as records at a lower price than fresh leads. The merchant still asked about business funding and still agreed to be contacted. What changed is the clock: the inquiry is no longer minutes old, and the record may have been worked by someone before it reached you.
That trade is the whole product. You give up the first-caller advantage of a real-time exclusive MCA lead, and in return you buy many more conversations for the same budget. For a funder or ISO with reps who can dial, text and email at volume, that math often works. Business owners do not stop needing capital because a few weeks passed. Many of them need it more.
LoanLeads.io sells aged MCA leads as a separate order type, priced per record by the merchant's monthly revenue and the age of the inquiry, from $0.20 to $1.00 per record. The minimum order is 5,000 records, paid 100% upfront, and bulk discounts start at 20,000 records. The full price table is below.
How do aged MCA lead buckets work?
Aged leads are grouped into age buckets, and the bucket tells you how long ago the merchant submitted and roughly what to expect when you reach them. Providers draw the lines differently, so treat the ranges below as a common way to think about it rather than a fixed standard. The general rule: the older the bucket, the lower the price per record and the more dials it takes to start each conversation.
| Age bucket | Where the merchant usually is | Opening that tends to work |
|---|---|---|
| 30 to 60 days | Recently shopped. Some took an offer elsewhere, some stalled during underwriting, some decided to wait a few weeks. | "You were looking at working capital last month. Did that get handled, or is it still open?" |
| 61 to 90 days | The urgent need may have passed, but cash flow pressure often returns. A merchant who took a smaller advance may now be paying it down. | "Checking in on your funding request from a couple of months ago. A lot of owners revisit it around now." |
| 90+ days | The inquiry is old, but the business is still operating and may be heading into a seasonal gap, a new contract or an equipment need. | "We help businesses like yours with working capital. Is anything coming up in the next few months where extra cash would help?" |
Some buyers also look at a younger range, inside the first 30 days, which behaves more like a slow fresh lead than a true aged record. Whatever ranges you buy, keep them separate in your CRM. Each bucket will show a different contact rate and close rate, and you want to see those differences clearly before deciding where to put more budget.
How much do aged MCA leads cost?
Aged MCA leads from LoanLeads.io cost $0.20 to $1.00 per record, depending on the merchant's reported monthly revenue and how old the inquiry is. The higher-revenue tiers are also the newest records, which is why they cost more. Every order is at least 5,000 records and paid 100% upfront, and a 4% processing fee applies.
| Monthly revenue | Inquiry age | 5,000+ records | 20,000+ (10% off) | 50,000+ (25% off) | 100,000+ (50% off) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Over $20k | Under 8 months | $0.20 | $0.18 | $0.15 | $0.10 |
| Over $40k | Under 6 months | $0.40 | $0.36 | $0.30 | $0.20 |
| Over $60k | Under 4 months | $0.60 | $0.54 | $0.45 | $0.30 |
| Over $80k | Under 3 months | $0.80 | $0.72 | $0.60 | $0.40 |
| Over $100k | Under 3 months | $1.00 | $0.90 | $0.75 | $0.50 |
The smallest order you can place is 5,000 records in the over-$20k tier: $1,000, or $1,040 with the 4% fee. Two more examples: 5,000 records in the over-$40k tier cost $2,000, and 20,000 records in that tier cost $7,200 after the 10% discount. Size your first order to what your team can take through a full cadence; even the 5,000-record minimum is a lot of dialing for a small floor.
Replacements are at LoanLeads.io's sole discretion and must be requested within 3 days of receiving the records, for a disconnected or invalid phone number, a clear duplicate (with proof of prior delivery within 30 days) or a record outside the agreed geographic targeting. All fees are non-refundable. Real-time prices are on the MCA lead pricing page, and orders are placed on the order page.
Why do aged MCA leads still fund?
Aged MCA leads fund because the reasons a merchant did not take capital the first time are usually temporary. When you sort the records by what happened after the original inquiry, a few groups show up again and again.
- Declined elsewhere. The first funder passed. Their box may have needed a higher revenue floor, a longer time in business, a different industry or a cleaner bank statement. Your box may be different, or the merchant's numbers may have improved since.
- Stalled in the process. The owner liked the idea, then never sent the bank statements. Life got busy. A friendly follow-up from someone new often restarts the file.
- Needed more time. The request was early. The owner was planning for an inventory purchase or a slow season that is arriving now.
- Took a smaller offer. The merchant accepted an advance that covered part of the need. After paying down a meaningful portion, some become candidates for a renewal or additional funding, depending on the funder's policies.
- Shopped and went quiet. The owner got several calls in one afternoon and stopped answering. Weeks later, with the noise gone, a calm and specific message gets a reply.
Renewal timing matters most of all. Merchant cash advances are repaid from future receivables, so a merchant who took a position some months ago may be approaching the point where a funder would consider them again. An aged list is, in part, a list of merchants who have already shown they are comfortable with the product.
What happened when one funder tested aged MCA leads?
One MCA funder, Edward, placed a single aged-lead order with LoanLeads.io and funded five deals from it. On a recorded review call he walked through the results: among the five were a $600,000 deal and a $52,000 deal, and the total funded from the order came to just shy of $1 million.
"Yeah, I'm really impressed with the aged." Edward, MCA funder, on a recorded review call with LoanLeads.io
On the same call he talked about a next order of about 15,000 aged leads. Three lessons from his result apply to any buyer:
- Deal size varies widely. One order produced both a $52,000 deal and a $600,000 deal. Aged lists are not only small merchants who were turned down everywhere. Larger businesses also go quiet and come back.
- A few funded deals can carry an order. Most aged records will not fund. The economics depend on the handful that do, so measure the order by funded volume and revenue, not by how many records answered the phone.
- Test, then scale. He ran one order, looked at what it produced, and then planned a larger one. That sequence protects your budget.
This is one buyer's result with one order. Your results depend on your underwriting box, your offers, your reps and how you work the list, and no lead order comes with a promise of funded deals. It does show that aged MCA leads can produce real, sizable fundings when a team works them properly.
How should you work aged MCA leads?
Work aged MCA leads with a multi-channel cadence that uses text and email to find the merchants who are ready, then puts a rep on the phone with them. Aged records reward persistence and punish a single dial-and-forget pass.
A 21-day cadence many teams start with
| Day | Channel | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Text, then call | A short text that names your company and their past request, followed by a call within the hour |
| 1 | A plain email with a link to a short application and one line on what you need: recent bank statements | |
| 2 | Call | Second attempt at a different time of day |
| 4 | Text | A question that is easy to answer: "Still looking at working capital this quarter? Yes or no is fine." |
| 7 | Call and email | Third call, plus an email with a simple example of how an advance works for their type of business |
| 10 | Text | A light reminder with your direct number |
| 14 | Call | Fourth attempt |
| 21 | A closing message: you will stop reaching out unless they reply, which often draws the replies |
After day 21, move non-responders to a monthly email list and leave the phone alone. Anyone who replies at any point goes straight to a rep.
Practical habits that raise results
- Lead with the past request, not a cold pitch. "You asked about funding in March" lands better than "We offer merchant cash advances".
- Ask for the documents early. A merchant who sends bank statements has moved from curious to engaged.
- Use local or recognizable caller ID and a named rep, so the merchant can call back the same person.
- Split your reporting by bucket and by source. You will find that some ranges pay back and others do not.
The MCA conversion playbook has more scripts for each touch.
How do you set up your team and CRM before an aged list arrives?
Set up suppression, tagging, routing and caller ID before the first aged record loads, because an aged list exposes every weak spot in a sales operation within the first week. Fresh leads arrive one at a time. An aged order can drop thousands of records into your CRM in an afternoon.
Before the upload
- Suppress what you already have. Match the batch against your existing merchants, open files and internal do-not-call list by phone number and business name. Calling a merchant you funded last month as if they were a stranger costs you credibility.
- Re-confirm the data you care about. An aged record shows what the merchant reported when they submitted. Revenue, time in business and even the owner can change in a few months, so your first call should re-check the basics rather than assume them.
- Decide who owns the list. Give aged records to specific reps with their own quotas, or to a dedicated reactivation team. A list shared by everyone tends to be worked by no one.
Tools and phone setup
- Dialing method. Click-to-call and power dialers let one rep move through a list quickly. If you consider automated dialing technology or prerecorded messages, review the TCPA rules for those methods with counsel first, since they carry stricter consent requirements.
- Caller ID health. High volumes of short, unanswered calls from one number can lead carrier analytics to label it as suspected spam. Spread volume across properly registered numbers and watch answer rates for sudden drops.
- Text platform. Use a business texting platform that records opt-outs automatically and syncs them to your CRM, so a "stop" on one channel stops the others.
An hour spent on this setup protects the whole order. Most disappointing aged-lead tests trace back to records that were dialed once, by the wrong person, from a flagged number.
What compliance points matter more with aged leads?
Aged leads carry the same consent record as fresh ones, but the passage of time raises questions you should settle with counsel before you dial. This is a general overview as of 2026, not legal advice, and rules change, so confirm current requirements with your own attorney.
- Consent scope. Read the consent language attached to the record. It defines who may contact the merchant, about what, and by which channels. Texting and calls made with automated dialing technology or prerecorded or artificial voices are where the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act is strictest.
- Revocation. FCC rules that took effect on April 11, 2025 say a person may revoke consent by any reasonable means, such as replying "stop" to a text or saying so on a call. The separate "revoke all" piece, which would apply one opt-out to unrelated messages, has been delayed to January 31, 2027. Record every opt-out and honor it across your systems.
- Calling hours. Federal rules limit telephone solicitations to between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. in the called party's local time, and some states set narrower windows. Use the state field to schedule calls in the merchant's time zone.
- State telemarketing laws. Some states have their own versions of the TCPA, such as Florida's Telephone Solicitation Act and Oklahoma's Telephone Solicitation Act of 2022, with their own consent and damages rules.
- Your internal do-not-call list. Scrub every aged batch against it before the first dial. A merchant who told your company to stop last year should not hear from you again because they appear on a new list.
More on how consent is captured across the network is on the TCPA consent and privacy page.
How do you test aged MCA leads and then scale?
Start with a test order sized to what your team can fully work through a complete cadence, measure every stage, and scale only the buckets and filters that pay back. A simple plan:
- Pick one or two buckets. For example, 30 to 60 days and 61 to 90 days, with your normal revenue and time-in-business filters.
- Tag every record. Bucket, order date and filter set go into the CRM so reporting is clean.
- Run the full cadence. Give the test at least three weeks. Judging an aged list after two days of calls undercounts it badly.
- Measure five numbers. Contacts, documents received, submissions to underwriting, offers, and funded deals, with funded amount and revenue per deal.
- Calculate cost per funded deal. Total order cost divided by funded deals. Compare it to your revenue per deal and to your other lead sources.
- Scale the winners. Increase volume in the buckets that worked, adjust filters on the ones that did not, and repeat.
The MCA lead pricing guide shows how to compare aged, real-time and live-transfer costs on the same basis. When you are ready to order, use the order page, or book time with LoanLeads.io or dial (647) 709-5026 if you want to talk through the tiers first.

Questions buyers ask
How old are aged MCA leads?
Aged MCA leads are inquiries that are past the fresh window, commonly anywhere from about 30 days to well over 90 days since submission. Providers define buckets differently, so always ask what the age ranges mean for the specific order you are buying. At LoanLeads.io, each price tier has a maximum age: under 8 months for merchants over $20k in monthly revenue, under 6 months for over $40k, under 4 months for over $60k, and under 3 months for the over-$80k and over-$100k tiers.
Are aged MCA leads exclusive?
It depends on the order. Aged records were submitted some time ago and may have been worked by other buyers before, which is part of why they cost less per record than real-time exclusive leads. Ask your account manager how a specific aged batch has been sold before you buy it, and plan your cadence on the assumption that merchants have heard from other funders.
Why are aged leads cheaper than real-time leads?
You lose the first-caller advantage and the merchant's attention has moved on, so each conversation takes more dials, texts and emails to start. The lower price per record reflects that extra work. For teams with the staff and systems to run a multi-week cadence, the lower cost can produce a competitive cost per funded deal.
What contact rate should I expect from aged MCA leads?
There is no reliable universal number. Contact rates depend on the age bucket, your caller ID reputation, the time of day you dial, whether you text first and how many touches you make. Measure your own rate by bucket during a test order and use that figure, rather than an industry rumor, to plan staffing and the size of your next order.
Can I text aged MCA leads?
Only where the consent attached to the record covers text messages from your company, and only within the rules that apply to automated texting. Read the consent language on the record, honor every stop request immediately and confirm your texting practices with counsel. Many teams use one short, personal text before a call because it raises answer rates.
How many aged leads should a first order include?
Size the first order to what your reps can take through a full three-week cadence without cutting corners. The LoanLeads.io minimum is 5,000 records, so plan staffing around at least that many. A batch too large to work properly produces misleading numbers, because many records never get a real effort. Start at the minimum, measure each stage, then scale the tiers that pay back, which is the same sequence the funder in our case followed.
Do aged MCA leads work for ISOs or only for funders?
Both. ISOs often do well with aged lists because they can place a merchant with whichever funder fits, including merchants a single funder would decline. Direct funders use aged leads to find renewal candidates and merchants whose numbers have improved. The common thread is a team that can dial, text and email at volume.
Should aged leads replace real-time leads?
Usually not. Most buyers who use both treat real-time leads as the core pipeline and aged leads as volume that keeps reps busy between fresh records and finds merchants whose timing has changed. Comparing cost per funded deal across both sources over a month or two tells you the right mix for your team.
What should I do with aged leads that never respond?
After a full cadence, move non-responders to a low-frequency email list and stop calling. Keep their records tagged so you do not pay to buy the same merchant again in a later batch, and suppress anyone who opted out. A quarterly check-in email often surfaces a few owners whose situation has changed.
